I was really frustrated with the parking situation; it was a nightmare trying to find a spot before check-in. The lot was tiny and packed, and we ended up paying too much just to park close to the hotel!

Well-designed accommodation with excellent staff at reception desk. Unbeatable location in York adjacent to York town centre as well as Christmas markets being on. Also, next to the riverside.

Had amazing stay in September 2022 and the weather was lovely. The location was lovely and amazing because it was short walk to the river front, city centre and York & Rowntree park along the river.

I had a fantastic stay! The apartment was super spacious and comfy, plus the shower was amazing. The location couldn't be better - right by the river and just a 15-minute walk to the center! I loved the complimentary continental breakfast, and the friendly staff made everything even better.

The only thing I struggled with was the air conditioning – it got a bit dry in the room. my partner's hair styler accidentally set off the silent fire alarm, so just a heads up about that! it was a good trip!

The Smart Studio was beautifully decorated with modern furnishings. Excellent lighting made navigating the space easy and enjoyable for a senior like me. The pleasant riverside view was the cherry on top!

A mirror near the desk would help seniors.

My room was spacious and beautifully decorated, with a well-equipped kitchenette, made cooking easy. Plus, the view of the river was fine and added to the relaxing atmosphere. It would be nice to have a few more amenities in the common areas to enjoy.

Perfect spot for a family getaway!

The location was super convenient, and I really appreciated how clean everything was. The staff were friendly and helped us find some food options nearby. Our air conditioning was a lifesaver during the hot days. Just wish the parking was a bit easier but that's York for ya!
